Prue graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2003 with a double degree in Law and Arts.  After more than 16 years practicing in the areas of property, commercial and construction law, Prue joined D’Arcy Thomson Law in 2025.  She is known for her clear advice, strategic mindset and practical approach to achieving strong outcomes for clients.
 

Prue advises clients on residential and commercial transactions, trust establishment and administration, the sale and purchase of businesses, commercial leasing, shareholder arrangements, terms of trade and franchise agreements.  
 

Prue also has significant expertise in construction law, particularly in the residential building sector. She assists clients at both the front end — including reviewing and identifying risks — and the back end, managing disputes through negotiation and mediation.
