Angelique graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Sociology. Originally from the Mackenzie Country, she began her legal career in South Canterbury before relocating to Christchurch to further develop her practice.

Angelique has gained significant experience practising as a solicitor in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Most recently, she worked at one of the United Kingdom’s largest specialist family law firms, where she developed a particular interest in cross-border and multi-jurisdictional family law matters. Through her work with high-net-worth clients involved in complex disputes, Angelique has developed strong technical skills and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.

Angelique advises on a wide range of family law matters, including care of children disputes, relationship property matters, contracting out agreements, separation agreements, family violence proceedings, adoptions, proceedings under the Property (Relationships) Act 1976, marriage dissolutions, and matters under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988. She supports clients at all stages of the family law process, from initial advice through to negotiated resolution or court proceedings where required.

Prior to relocating to the United Kingdom, Angelique worked as a Senior Solicitor at a large New Zealand firm, advising on a broad range of family law matters. She also has experience assisting with traffic-related offences, including limited licence applications.

Angelique’s combined background in law and sociology, together with her experience practising family law in two jurisdictions, enables her to work effectively with clients navigating complex and often highly emotional situations. Her international experience provides valuable insight into cross-border disputes, allowing her to support clients locally while identifying and addressing overseas legal considerations where relevant.

Angelique is committed to achieving practical, cost-effective outcomes for her clients through negotiation, mediation, and, where necessary, Family Court proceedings.
